Accessibility statement

JR Security wants everyone to be able to use our website, regardless of disability, assistive technology or situation. That is why we follow the international accessibility guidelines.

Our commitment

We design and build this website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This aligns with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which has applied since 28 June 2025.

Compliance status

This website is largely compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. "Largely" means that the vast majority of the guidelines have been applied, but that some elements may still be improved further.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with a correct heading hierarchy and recognisable landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).
  • Full keyboard operation with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • A "Skip to content" link at the start of every page.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 and user-interface components of at least 3:1.
  • Text that scales up to 200% and content that remains readable without horizontal scrolling from 320 pixels wide.
  • Alternative text for informative images; decorative images are marked as such.
  • Form fields with associated labels and clear error messages.
  • Respect for the reduced motion system preference (prefers-reduced-motion): animations and the hero video are then not played automatically.
  • An accessible cookie banner with a focus trap and keyboard operation (Esc closes).
